I get the Hi Tek at my mother-in-laws store, Alabama Poultry Supply, it's over on the old Hanceville Highway a few blocks south of East Elementary. She has Sportmix and Diamond also. Hi Tek 26-18 and Diamond 26-18 are 15.50 + tax. Can't remember what Sportmix cost.

We started using hi-Tech this week. We were using performance Brand made from sunshine mills. We like sunshine but had to go out of our way to get it and so we switched to hi-tech , Its the blue bag for 15.00 a 50lb bag at our local feed store. Diamond was the same price but i couldnt bring myself to buy it.

I think GoodDog is made by hi-tech and I see allot of deerhunters buy it for their dogs. Anyone have comments on that?

I believe that blue bag is 23-14, that is what I feed in the summer. I would not be afraid at all to feed Diamond right now. I doubt if any company has better quality control than what Diamond has now. You are correct, Good Dog is made by Hi Tek. Hi Tek makes the following, quality is from top to bottom.

So what do you feed in winter? It stays around 50 here when its cold, I doubt some would even call that winter1 he,he! And I've only seen it go down to 30's, 2X's this year.

The Sunshine we were feeding was 28/18 and they kept shiny coats and they had good weight ,even when hunted hard. But like I said we had to go out the way to get it.

I just started on this new food so i'll see how they fair on it before changing again and I might go to Diamond, since the repetation is still in good standing. Thanks.

I feed the Hi Tek in the red bag in the winter has a little more protein and fat. It's 26-18. Good Dog green bag is like 27-18, but I think it has more corn than Hi Tek. I have fed it though and liked it pretty good.

Hi Tek makes 2 different puppy feeds. They make Hi Tek in the gold bag and one called Premium Blend in a black bag. I feed the Premium Blend it is supposed to be higher quality and my pups like it better.

chet doesnt ultra advantage have soy in it ?

smith visit the feed mill off 33 you might be surprised what company owns it and what feeds are made there many of these dog feeds that get discussed about come from same bin just different bags

i just started feedin diamond--lamb meal and rice formula--about a month and a half ago....i know that awful corn/dog thing happened with them a couple months ago but this formula dosnt even have corn in it...the dogs really like it and they seem really healthy right now, and let me tell ya, they are active about 18-20 hours a day! i can get it for 15.00 for a 40lb bag at my local tractor supply store...hope this helps some....
