yea i have seen those look like it might be a little warm for summer but wouldnt have to worry about it tearing. in brush now looking at the pics looks like in one pic the front pocket on the left is meant for a trakker maxima then in another pic that pocket looks like it would hold a garmin
what all do you carry in your vest

The pocket on my right holds my Garmin and the pocket on the left holds my trashbreaker. But I also carry a bottle of water, bullets, gloves, a coupler, squaller etc. It has plenty of pocket space as well as a game pouch. There is also a large rectangular pocket sewed to the back of the vest. I don't use it but I assume it could be used for some tracking systems.

The vest is not warm. But I do sweat in it during warmer weather. Its very tough with briars though.

Bright eyes make a good vest wouldn't trade it for 10 others

I agree completely. You can adjust it to fit over a coat in the winter time and it is mesh so it allows good airflow. I had a NiteLite vest and like everything else I owned of theirs, it found its way to the burn barrel.

I use a load bearing vest or tactical vest. Thats what we called them in the military and also use them for SWAT. Try to get one with the "molle" system. Allows u to buy additional bags, holders, etc. some have a built in pocket on the back where u can slip a water bladder in it or u can clip on a camelback for water. I usually dont carry water bottles. I can fit my gps in the m16 pouch, or i suppose u can put a water bottle in it. Yes, It may sound weird but it is very funtctional for hunting. U are just hunting coons... Instead of people, i hope! U can get them from us calvary, galls, streichers, just to name a few companys. Just google load bearing vest or tactical vest. I strongly encourage the molle system for adding, moving, or removing pouches. Also the ones that have belt keepers that extend from the vest r good. They attach to ur belt so the vest will not slide up on ur neck depending on where the majority of the weight is on ur vest.
