no do not leave the dc30's on there charger, it is not a smart charger and the collars are to be took off after the blue light on the collar goes off... |

why will it hurt them? If it is a smart charger it will not continue to charge if they are fully charged right? |

garmin chargers are not smart chargers... it clearly states in there manual to take collars off the charger when the blue lite goes off.... |

I have the same problem with my dc-30. One time it will take 7-9 hrs to charge and the next time it will take 4 hrs don't know why. I charge it each time I am done. My bear hunting group has twenty or more collars we all charge them when we go to bed and unplug them when we wake up any wher from 4 to 8 hours never had any other trouble yet, only my one collar the newest of all of them. |
