 Post subject: losing signal on dc 30

In and out with signal up to 400 yards astro 220 and dc 30 collar 6 months old updated unit and collar last night but still doing it. Please help

Im sure your in a mountainous terrain because my unit does the exact same thing. I have noticed if i carry the unit in my hand rather than in my pocket it happens a lot less. If you lose signal with your dog just climb to higher elevation and you will pick him back up.

Water damage to the collars or 220 I hunt in mountains and river bottoms mountains 600 to 700 river bottoms mine works bout 1 mile and my dogs stay in water in the bottoms

Said collar is not water proof if submerged it will leak nothing is wrong with handheld or other collars just that one but there replacing it so good work garmin
