15 years ago i hunted with the same old 12 volt box lite for 8 years and never even changed the bulb wore the same pair of WICK waders for the better part of ten years (had to replace the rubber boots 1 time).Did'nt have 250 dollars in the hole rig....TODAY as of 7 mounths ago until now i have went through 3 pairs of waders ( all differnt brands) all heavy top of the line priced from 175 to 250 dollars...And two lights the last a 350 dollar LED lite that has not lasted 6 mouths...

Is it just me????

To the various supply companies....Coonhunting is for the most part is a rugged environment....

If wick could build a pair of chap-waders 20 years ago that would last why can't you purcase a pair of its eqaul today????

If a box lite would last 10 years plus why doesnt a belt lite last a year????

COUNTRY FOLKS ARE THE ONES THAT COONHUNT...WE TAKE PRIDE IN OUR WORK...WE EXPECT THE SAME FROM YOU...

TAKE PRIDE IN YOUR PRODUCT AND STAND BEHIND WHAT YOU SELL US... AT THESE PRICES ITS NOT TO MUCH TO ASK...

I feel your frustration, I shredded a pair of heavy rubber hip boots trying to keep up with my dog night before last. Next time I'll wear some brushbusters over them... bulky to say the least. If anyone knows of a source for hip waders that will withstand the rigors of trying to get to a treed dog no matter what, please let me know.

All the chap-boots i'v found have been junk...i just wear regular boots anymore cause if you wear a wader 3 times there full of holes and your gonna get wet anyhow.I see no need to have a paire of heavy waders on and still be wet..
