if you hit the map button a second time it hides the tracks. hit it again and they will show again.
for what ever reason they do tend to show a little track like movement even with it not on the dog and the collar never moving.

I love the 320. Shows you where you are, where the truck is and where the dog is. Its gotten me out the woods more than once. One tip I would say is to turn the collar on before you leave, it seems to take a little longer to boot up, I only turn the hand held on to see where the dog is now and then to save battery life. I did not subscribe to anything or download any maps or anything and it works just fine. You have the ability to mark waypoints too so when you come across that heavy used deer trail or smoking hot fresh scrape you can mark it to come back to later! Its pricey but worth every penny.

id like to add one thing , if you buy a garmin remember to take the other half of the charger off that clips on the collar off before you go out hunting . i got lucky and mine was still clipped on the collar so now it painted white so i wont forget it .

We have a Garmin 320 Astro tracking collar. Can we get another collar to work with our unit. At this time we have just one collar.
Thanks
Joe

a 320 will track up to 10 different collars.. you can add dc30's.. dc 40's or the new dc50's to a 320. if you choose the dc50 you will have to download the free updates from garmins website to your handheld. very simple to do.
for dc30 or dc40 just hit
menu ,
select dog list - enter,
select add new - enter
follow prompts on screen.
