I have a 28v nitelite and it got turned on in the truck. It's dead as a hammer and wont start charging. When I plug it into the smart charger the red and green lights blink 1 time and then nothing. Any ideas?

Well i fixed it myself. The battery was %100 dead. The smart charger wouldnt start charging it. So I hooked it to my car battery charger for a few seconds and put a little charge in the batterys then the smart charger started and charged it right up. Was it the right way to do it? I doubt it LOL ,But it worked.

I was told by nitelite that if it was completely dead the smart charger wouldn't charge it. Its a nearly new light so I hope the battery isn't bad. It seems to work just fine now

Its good sometimes to leave it on all night, and drain the battery, and then charge it up, it puts a really good charge on it.
