i have a 8 volt nite pro nite lite, and i do not know how long i need to charge it. does anybody know about these lights?

I have a couple of the 6volt nite lights, the light on the charger is red when they are charging and goes off when they are fully charged.

really, mine is the opposite, when charging the red light on the charger is off, when fully charged the red light comes on, lol, its a 6v, very good lights, but sometimes when my cord near the head gets to a certain position from twisting or whatever the light will go off and come back on, i guess its in the cord
