i had something similar happen to mine the other night... said he crossed the river a few times working the track, he treed on the same side of the river i was on and when i got there only his feet was damp, keep in mind this river is 50' wide and in that bend i know its over 5' deep so either my dog can walk on water or my topo map is off lol... we got it when the dc30's came out and this is the first slip up i've noticed, love the thing i just figured i'd let u know ur not the only one, our map isnt the garmin one though not sure where we bought it.

I have had a this to happen only a couple of times with mine...I never lost the dog symbol on the screen...but the dog was not where the gps showed it.....I looked at the communication screen and I had very low signal on the collar figured this was causing it.

if the leaves are heavy on the trees it throws them off.
