bought a gen. a year or so back well it was the year we had the bad ice storm when altum oaks(sorry on spelling) was moved, any way i ran it less than 45min.s and put it in the shed go out about once a month to start it and this last time did not put no juice out this time called the store and comply and i have lost the recite and they will not do nothing with out that...so i was going to sell it dirt cheap after we gave almost 800$ for it....a man came down to look at it, told him the story and he said sometimes i hate being so honest but i can do this to you...i said whats that....he took my 12volt battery and run two wires off of it and plugged it into the outlet on the gen for a few seconds and said start it now..guess what it works now he said the exciter had lost charge and this was called flashing it...so there are still good people out there :D :D .....i cant not belive the store or comply could not tell me this,or my local lawn mower shop (they told me 32$ an hr. to look at it)
