Guys I need a light I can depend on. A PRO light 21 is not it period. I have fixed it OVER AND OVER again. it is hard to beleive I put up with it this long. I need to hear from peoaple that have been Running coons for a long time. It makes me sick to think I payed $375.00 for a light that is not worth 20 cents IMO. I need a light I can depend on. Your thoughts.

Sarge

Sarge, K-light and ProLite are owned by the same company -- Something to think about.

Buckshot / Drew My friend :D :D :D Guy you have montored this board for a long time :D :D :D Out of the two witch one would you pick????? I don't care if it is a belt light or a car battery. I just need somthing that will last that I can depend on, that I don't have to change the light out every three days or rewire every three months. I have pups to train and I am tired of not being in the woods. I need some help friend, I need to buy one Now.

Thanks Sarge

Sarge, either one.

I have a VC and Blazer...............Dakota has a VC.

My Blazer is probably around 6 years old or more. Can't remember my VC but Dakota's VC is 5 years old.

Drew I bought one and you are going to shoot me LOL. it was a K-light but it had a G2 head. I like it so far. The belt has a 5 year warranty. The led head is suppose to last seven years. we will see????? The only reason I went this way is because I know a young buck that hunts hard and that is the light he has and hasn't had any problems.

Sarge, what concerns me from what I have read on these is forums is many people who have had to returned the head as it burned up.

Great that there getting fixed, but seems to be a problem if that many people are having to send them back.

There is one thread on the PKC forum, where it seemed majority of the post where someone's head had burned up and had to be sent back.

http://forum.prohound.com/viewtopic.php?t=101240

I haven't seen any talk of the Valley Creek or Bright Eyes being sent back because the head burned up.

LOL, goes back to my orginal post in this thread about KLights and ProLites the same company.

MSG Farley RET. This information is only partially correct. Buckshot said that K-light owns Pro-lite, which is correct, however, the Pro-lite that you have had problems with in the past was actually was built by Pro-lite. K-light didn't buy out Pro-lite until about two years ago. Until that time Pro-lite built all of their own lights. This Valley Creek company that everyone wants to talk so highly had all of their lights made by K-light until a year ago. Valley Creek got their reputation by selling K-lights with their name on it, and now they sell a good light that they make themselves using nearly the exact same equipment. There are very few differences. K-light builds lights for many companys, that's why they don't stitch their brand name on the pouch, so other companies can glue their logo on it. K-lights are good quality, American made lights, I have owned the G2 head since it has come out and I have had zero difficulties with either and I have put them to the test. Take it from someone that actually hunts coon at night, you bought a good piece of equipment and you will be happy with your investment.

How come my son's 5 year old Valley Creek light was made by Moonshiner lights - not K-Lights?

Fact is on those G2 Heads -- many are having to return them due to burning up -- I have yet to see on any of the forums the VC or Bright Eyes heads burning up. The only LED head I have seen on any of the forums burning up is the G2.
