last weekend at plott days i won a new marshall tracking collar in a raffle, the freq. is 219.145

my girlfriends dad (who i hunt with) has an F+L electronics 10 channel tracker with the model # 219.000mhz, he already has 2 other collars the the frequences starting with the 219 so im assuming it will work. but i honestly dont know how? do i need to take it somewhere?

The 219 is the freq. and the 145 is the channel..............You'd need to see what channels the F&L will accept to see if the collar can be used on his system. Since it has only 10 channels, then the colllar has to match up to one of the available channels.

Example:

2 dog Tracker Classic that has 2 channels.

219.355 - Collar 1
219.655 - Collar 2

So your 219.145 collar would not be compatible with the 2 dog Classic.

Just because the system is 219, does not mean the collar will work. You need both freq. and channel to both align to the available system channels to work.

Some systems, like a Maxima 1000 would mean 1000 channels in a certain freq. and would work as long as it tracked the 219 freq.

Your system is a F&L MN10 219.000-219.099. That means the only collars you can use is a 0 band 219 freq. .0 is the band, .00 is the band and channel, .000 is the band channel and tune.
