Dear Marci...♥
I've got a story. I was cutting posts and fire wood today, and dragging posts up the road to the house area when I heard Dukedog screaming behind the 'Show Coop'! OoOOOUUUUOOHHH!!!!! he said, and I thought to myself, "Dukedog is in one of the little coon traps behind the show coop, I had better go and let him out".
Well, he needless to say he was and when I went to open the #2 and let him out, {he had been biting on the trap, but being metal it didn't respond to his viscous attack} he started biting me! I had gloves on and was trying to open the trap, and the more I tried the more he bit, and he has a bite like a alligator! We struggled and struggled and he chomped, bit and chewed on my left hand as it was softer than the trap and I tried and tried to open the little #2 longspring but to no avail. Finally I got his foot out with no help from him and he stopped biting me and limped off.
My hand was bleeding like a stuck hog and I had to wash it off and hold a towel on it to stop the blood. But it stopped bleeding and no permanent damage so that is the story about how Dukedog learned what a trap was.
I am having beans, tortillas and Mexican style 'whatever I can find' tonight, and as usual, 'I miss my Marci weekends and a good dinner and a movie'. I had to tell you the funny story about Duke and the coon trap.
Ha Ha
I'll write later...♥♥♥
