OK here is a question I hope people dont take the wrong way Im not refering to doping up a dog or anything of that nature.....Does anyone know of a food, vitamin or,suppliment or techniqe of wireing a dog up getting his energy level boosted to the max.
I feed my dogs only the best food...purina Now and then I give my dogs pure cooked meat and it seems as if they get a little peppir the next day. Think that a rich protein meal boosts energy level in working dogs?
or is it just my imagination.

And has anyone tried the garmin astro dog tracking system for coonhunting?

The higher the protein content in the food the more energy my uncle works for purina mills, go to pmi .com and look at red flanel prime formula dog food, its high in protein but is balanced to much protein can hurt them

Feed a 30-20 dog food..Its for pups..Your dog will have plenty of energy to burn...A lot of guys that hunt the night hunts feed 30-20...I know a few guys that give there dogs b-12 shots. They say it helps...They do win a lot...I dont know if its the handlers or the dogs...LOL

Go to the Products Review and Discussion section for info on the Astro....there are a few threads already going on it.

Amino Plex 5000 and DMG 2000 are awsome. You can get them, among other tons of stuff,at http://www.kvvet.com

Not too mention if you have a petsmart close they will match from the catalog what ever they carry.Like flea and tick etc etc. That way you don't have to order it.Heck you might order a catalog and look through it.They carry a ton of great stuff for low low prices.

Power Chow isnt that bad either
http://www.k9boost.com/Power-Chow.htm

CNI makes a product calle RF-1 that is pretty good too
http://getcni.com/product-info.html

Even Vertex is pretty good

hey yall i got a quick question. im not a coon hunter but I got some deer dogs and I was wondering what is a good energy supplement to give them before I go huntin that will give them a little more grit or "spunk". I have seen k9 super fuel but I was wondering if there is anything else with alot of protein and fat.
