anyone know the formula or the dosing needed to use panacur horse wormer on dogs? thanks for the help in advance. |

I just picked up some myself and was wondering the same thing, i've heard some people giving the "250" lb. dose for 3 days straight but i havn't tried it yet |

that will work for an average size hound(50 lbs or so) dogs weight times 5 will give you dosage |

I worm with Zemictirin Gold....I've just been giving a pea sized drop once a month, should I be doin this three days in a row thing??? They seem pretty worm free... |

No you shouldn't worm with Zemectrin Gold for 3 days. ZG is ivermectin and praziquantel. It's great for heartworm prevention and getting tape worms and will do ok on roundworms. Panacur is the same as safeguard the active ingredient is fenbendazole, it should be given for 3 days. Fenbendazole gets rounds, hooks and whips. It will also get some types of tapes, but not the flea tape which is most common in dogs. Dosage is 1200 mg per 50 pounds. Which is about 5 times the livestock dosage like Bear said. |

appreciate the help... I've had a hard time figuring all that out... The ZG seems to have cleaned my dogs up nice, and it's not that bad, you can worm 2 hounds for 6 months on 15 bucks... |
