I noticed my females are having smaller litters than what they used to have.it doesn't seem to matter what male I breed them to or what age the females are.i used to have 8,10,or 12 pups to a litter now seems like I do good to get six.Is there something that could be causing this

I don't know the answer to that but I know a local guy that had a female out of the Stylish line that only ever seem to get 2-3 pups from a litter & probably had 5 litters out of her. Many times only 1-2 lived. The females out of her seem to be the same with litters. They seem to be outstanding coon dogs in the end, just small liters. I'm not real familiar with that line so I'm not saying they're all like that, just out of that particular female.
