My pup got a thorn in her eye tonight while hunting. She keeps rubbing at it and her eye is rolled back in her head. Anybody have any good ways to get it out? Ill take her to the vet In the morning if it doesn't come out tonight.

It looks like it came out but the eye was still irritated. I put eye drops in last night and it looked a little better this morning.

Thanks so much for asking about her. I actually looked at it this morning and it looked totally normal just a little blood shot. Maybe I over reacted or the eye drops really helped.

There was a kid in my high school that had a chunk of the white of his eye removed by a broken golf club handle. It looked bad but it completely healed. His doctor told him that the white part doesn't do much but if the same thing would have hit his iris he would have lost vision in that eye.
