the owner of the gyp i got the dog off of said it was ready to go (6 weeks old) but i think that might be a little to early, or is that just fine?

ive had her about a week, and finally got her to stop whinin, she will shake and barely can bark, im guessin because of the cold, because she aint never been whooped, and i feed her plenty, any way to combat this other than puttin a few blankets in her box or is this some kind of sickness as i have yet to get her a 7-in-1?

Six weeks is really young. It's a a problem u see lots, cause people are to cheap and lazy to care for a litter of pups till a proper age. You can wean them at 6 weeks, but is way too young. You want them at the very least 8 weeks old, but 10 - 12 weeks is far better. I've only ever bred 3 litters of pups and let them go out the gate at 10 weeks which in my opinion was just old enough. A puppy can be vaccinated for Parvovirus as early as 5 weeks. A combination vaccine (5-way) should be given at 6 and 9 weeks. At 12 and 15 weeks of age your puppy will need another combination vaccine, possibly a 7-way, as well as a rabies vaccine. Adult dogs will also require a booster shot once a year.

Yes of course you can make a fine dog out of her. She's probly shaking cause she's scared and cold. Bring her in the house and give her some lovin. She just got taken away from her warm mom and siblings and got put in a pen or box by herself, she scared to death.

Eating solid food is my indication. That happens at 5 weeks some time and I never had a problem. The puppies think they own the place.

One of the most important times of a pups life is between 5-12 weeks of age. By interacting with its mother and siblings it learns how to be a Dog. Just because it's eating food and physically able to be weaned doesn't mean it's mentally or emotionally old enough!!!!! We can't teach a pup the dog etiquette it's mother can.

Sorry I have never had any pups not be a dog because they went to a home at 6 weeks old. And I certainly don't need my government telling me when my pups are old enough to be rehomed. I believe your pup will be fine
