I have a 8 mth old blue female that is having some bloody stool. All shots are up to date at the time of this post. Her stools have some bright red blood in them along with some mucus. At first I thought that she may have gotten parvo. It stopped after a couple of days and she was having regular stools. She has been doing this off and on now for a couple of weeks. She is eating and drinking good as well as playing and running around like nothing is wrong with her. Her coat is also has a great shine to it. For a couple of days she had a real hoarse bark but it is back to normal now. I have 3 other dogs in the same area that are just fine. Two of them are 7mth old american bulldogs and a 8 yo red heeler. We live beside my girlfriends mon and step dad and they were complaining about the dogs so we thought that her stepdad may have fed her glass but it has been long enough that it should be out of her or she should have been dead. What do you think could be going on with my pup?

My dog had a similar issue. Sometimes the symptoms were real bad and sometimes they were minor. We figured out after some time that the dog has colitis. ( not sure on spelling) so we just feed him some pumpkin with his food and that seems to greatly decrease the frequency of the issue. But it could be a lot of different things. Worms?

I will try that. I picked up some worm meds today and am doing that tomorrow.
