Out of curiosity, how old are the females and have they ever come into heat before?

Well, I'm not a vet by any means, so hopefully the gentleman will get back to you. I am a biologist though, and I will say that variation is pretty normal. Many people have dogs that are not regular, especially after having pups. You always hear about dogs going into heat every 6-8 months, but that is not necessarily the case. A colleague of mine has a nice yellow lab that is 4.5 years old and has only come into heat once, last summer. It does seem a little odd to me that you have three females and none of them are coming into heat. Keep in mind that estrus and menstruation are not the same thing; however, I know there is at least one study on wolves that found that bitches in a pack are synchronized in their heat (estrus) cycle. I don't know if that could happen with dogs, since the hierarchy is a little different, but I agree with cricket, just be patient and hopefully things will work out. Just hoping to put your mind at ease.
