I have an 8yr old bluetick on heartworm med, flea med, and have used drontel to worm her but she will not eat much. She is having BM's and drinking but losing wheight fast. Has not been eating much the last week. Any ideas?

Sorry to here your hound is sick. i had a hound do that same very thang to me and i had taken her to the vet, come to find out she had gotten Hook Worms from i guess a coon, any way he told me to give here Panacure for 3days. that worked and she is now as fat as could be. hope that helps

If there is any blood/heavy mucus in stool and/or very loose stool you may consider a protozoan infection. Stool sample to ur vets would be my suggestion as it could diagnose worms or protozoans.

maybe shes got a bad tooth, something in her throat, or even possibly an inner ear thing. These things are very simple but often overlooked, and will definitly case a dog not want to eat.
