I have an old dog she's 14 ,JRT and she's in pretty good health except for a rotten tooth and I had a couple removed 2 yrs ago and the anathesia was pretty rough on her and I'm afraid to try and put her under again .any suggestions?

If they r not exposing nerves or are not dead teeth but just sensitive you can soak round gauze in room temp sweet tea and hold them against the gum by the tooth 3-4 times a day for a couple of days. It will help draw out the swelling and eaze sensitivity. If this doesnt work extraction is the only other thing i know of. You can repeat treatment if tooth is extracted and it will keep if from becoming a dry socket. Thus treatment works good on people too. But tea needs to b room temp to slightly warmer than room temp.
