What is the very best liquid antibiotic a person can use for dogs with cold, cough, symtoms of pneumonia. A livestock farm vet gave me a small 5 day dose for my dog. Guess what, "it worked"I had just spent $700 on my dog's two different vets, and was going broke. This was within two months.
I'm confused as to the point you're trying to make. Are you asking for help, trying to identify what the vet gave you or trying to tell us a certain antibiotic works well? What "works" depends on what is wrong with the dog in the first place. Using the same thing for all cold symptoms all the time would be a big mistake.
I am trying to find out what the vet used. I was hoping someone could tell me an excellent antiobiotic, (liquid) that would bring the flim (pneumonia like symptons) out of a coughing dog. Whatever liquid antiobiotic the vet used on my dog was excellent and the dog coughed a whole lot of mucous type flim. Thanks
Are you sure it was an antibiotic? Maybe it was an expectorant - something to help their coughs actually produce something. I think you should try to contact the vet and ask what it was.
Expectorant maybe thats it! I hinted to the vet that gave me the liquid for the name, but he said he would remember if needed again. (He is a livestock vet, so I am wondering what could I look for in a liquid form, to bring up flim if ever needed again. Thank You So Much
