my dog has a rough realy dry spot on his hind leg its not realy big there is no hair on it and is white but like i said rough what can i put on it that he wont lick off that will cure it. there is no puss or anything comin out of it and dosent seem to bother him..

If you can take a picture and post it. It may be an allergy, but either way there is almost nothing you could put on it that he wouldnt lick right off. It could also be a fungus check it under a black light in the dark and if it glows its probably ringworm fungus

Make sure its not allergy from flea bites. I use frontline
I have used Spray can of Lotrimun for athletes foot (or you can rub in the cream Lotrimun) Please post when you find out. :lol: :lol: :lol:

If this dog is old and lays down a lot it could also be something similar to a bed sore. You may want to check with your vet

it is probably just a dry spot from him laying down.. older dogs get these spots on their elbows sometimes. probably nothing to be worried about. make sure his house has plenty of padding.

could it be from a chain my dogs have a place on the back leg simulair to yours from were they jump around with the chain between there legs
