I have a 5 year old male that I got third hand. the guy i got him from said he was cut. Well this dog is a very nice dog and I hated that he was cut. So on september 16th I was cleaning my kennels and put him in with my good female that was in heat. About 10 minutes later i went to put him up and the 2 dogs were locked up. I did some looking and it seemed as though it was about 50/50. It looks like occasionally a cut male will have desire and the ability to lock up with a female. Long story longer. A month later, my female is certainly showing that she's pregnant. With out question. It's a good problem to have. I'd have made this cross a long time ago had I known it was possible. the question is this. Is there a procedure to have his nuts drop? I am assuming they just never dropped. I don't think there is anyway that my female is pregnant from another dog. She was kenneled very securely and for sure never got out. If there is a procedure, is it necessary?

im sure a vet could do something to bring them down.. only way they would need to drop is if you ever planed on showing him in bench shows.. its a disqualification unless he has 2 dropped nuts.

Not a problem for me. I don't do club events of any kind. I am going to spend the 150 bucks to have the boys freed.
