Has anyone ever tried heat-x or anything to hide the smell of a gyp in heat from males when hunting?

Thanks

Considering how our hounds have been bred for decades to be able to smell every little thing and they don't miss even the faintest of scents if it's something they really want I don't think it is possible for something like that to work with hounds.

I would not use anything to change a dogs gestation period don't want to chance messing them up. Some hounds are ill or lazy when in heat just depends on the dog I put mine up for a month when they come in and maybe do a drag and have them tree a dead or caged coon if they are just getting started good but alot of old hounds in a month will just put on a few pounds and go back to business once it is over
