The church is our mother....now that ain't in my Bible. That needs some elaboration. I understand that the church is the body as Paul teaches in I & II Corinthians- one body, many parts. We need to be careful about saying things like it's our mother. I don't want to see it tied in with the Sophia worshippers or Gaia followers, in other words the mother/goddess crowd. Not saying that was what preacher man meant but I can't say AMEN to that.

THIS THE WAY I SEE IT IF YOUR TRULY BORN AGAIN ,SAVED BY THE GRACE OF GOD YOU WILL WANT TO GO TO CHURCH WHERE YOU CAN PRAISE HIM AND WORSHIP HIM IN THE SPIRIT, AS MANY CHURCHES OUT THERE TODAY SURELY ONE OF THEM WILL SUIET EVERYONE. PS IF YOU LET SOMEONE OR SOMETHING STAND BETWEEN YOU AND GOD THEY OR IT IS CLOSER TO GOD THAN YOU , JUST MY BELEIVES AND THE WAY I SEE IT TO ME GOING TO CHURCH IS LIKE GOING TO THE TABLE TO EAT ,ITS WHERE YOU GET YOUR SPIRITUAL FOOD

If you are a follower you should show it in your actions. Your walk with God should become stronger and stronger and your actions with show this. Going to church isnt something you should feel bad about doing you should want to go to church to learn more about him and grow in your faith.
