we just got back from a hunt....freezing cold out, but we had fun....we took our old ten year old plott....and our buddy took his 2 year old black and tan female, sayde....it took about 25 minutes for them to tree...it must have been pretty hot because they were pretty silent, then they treed really hard....sayde was going back and forth to two trees a couple feet away from each other, then jebb was solid treed on the one, we shined jebb's first, he had two coons, then we shined sayde, and she had one coon....it was icy out and half the night i was praying i wouldnt fall and get hurt....I didnt, so I was thnkinh Him by the end of the night!!!!!
I was surprised they treed so many on such a freezing night...and just our luck, coon saeson went out yesterday, and during coon season, all we tree is dens!!!!
