she works out great ,hunts deep, fast and gritty.she will be one of the 5 or 6 that i keep when i start to getting rid of a few dogs .i know what kind of dog i'm looking for now.some places that we hunt are mountainous and hilly andif hogs aren't in the area she can make what we thougt would be a short hunt an all day hunt(not many roads or trails) and tiring. to sum it all up i like te dog she produces hogs.

in response to the bird dogs and how well they bay. the ones that i know about have lots of hunt , drive and stamina better than most.some of the gsp and pointer strains are gritty some a little too gritty for me . the female that i own will hunt out over a mile but she doesn't just take off and leave the country.she hunts every bit of the block of woods.i like them, and yes, they make good bay dogs.

I hog hunt in alavama with German shorthair pointers I have had everything from black mouth cur, catahoula, mtn cur, and everything else. Nothing has the hunt or the grit of a bird dog.
