My coondawg has quit running coons and has treed or ran 7 bears in the past 2 weeks. She has even Bayed one sow at the bottom of the tree with a cub up the tree. I would venture to say she is a finished bear dog, and I say that because if I had a dog to move a coon track that fast and tree it that hard, and have that kind of accuracy it would be a finished dog. She even strikes them from the box hard. I really enjoy it and have kind of embraced it instead of trying to break her. The bad part is that it is illegal to run bears in the state of Florida and we are infested with them. This is not a classified and I am not trying to sell the dogs, but I am not a bear hunter(officially) and dont know the value of a registered bear walker or pups. I am wondering about this because I actually enjoy it enough that I may start traveling to hunt them legally or I may sell her and stick with what I know. Any advice would be appreciated
