I can't even imagine one of those big ole lopped eard dogs being able to run fast enough to catch a bear, they've got to be sloooooowwwww.

To your suprise,Their faster then ya think.I was shocked to see first hand their ablity to hang!!!!!Not say'n their the fastest,but guarenteed to be smell'n what their running.Great start dogs...getting it straightened out in the right direction,especially in tough conditions.My thoughts were the same until ya see it first hand.Hopefully mine continues to do his job....Keep'n my fingers crossed.......

ive had success with the big blue dogs. they have more heart and drive than ive seen in alot of hounds. but becareful wth them i just lost my second do to a twisted stomach. that is the biggst problem ive hd with them. once it twist you have lost the dog most likely.

Up4trein1, Yea,Most large breed dogs are at risk!! Keep our fingers crossed about that!!!! Getting caught is always another concern.....Rough bears on the ground,always concerned me with a huge dog.Just dont seem to be as agile in the thick green growths.........
