Well, I finally broke down and layed down the cash for a garmin astro 220 and enough dc30 collars for my bear dogs. And guys if your not running these things, go buy sum right now. We hunt sum pretty rough ground in these TN mnts. And these things are workin pretty dang good. Its almost cheating, it makes it that much easier to cut game off or pack sum dogs in. I wont turn another one of my dogs loose with out a gps around its neck. Still runnin a johnson with tree switch just for back up also. Am i the only one that loves these units?

I have the same system for my coon dogs and like you said it's almost like cheating. I absolutely love it. Makes things a whole lot easier on those nights where its hard to hear the dogs, you know exactly where they are and what they're doing. Best investment i've made.
