I'd go because money is money but my old dog is 12 years old. Competitions are designed for younger dogs. She's not as quick as she used to be but she's still better than most other dogs I've ever been in the woods with. I've never been in the woods with a better dog than she was when she was young.

I will not support any organization that is Anti-hunting, double standard and for PAWS.... I remember in Feb. when AKC offered to reg. all hounds for free... everyone was for it... I held off because I know that you never get anything for nothing.... there is always a catch.. the catch for AKC is to try and take revenue away from UKC by reg. the hounds for free... They were thinking they would get more in entry fees and litter reg. then in single registrations.......... wow... what a plan they had.. Thanks to good people like Buckshot the coonhunters can read about what AKC is up to.... and read about the PAWS program.... and if you are a hunter and support PAWS .. I think you have a screw loose!!!!! just my opinion.... Vortec... there is more to life then money.. there are standards and standing up for what you believe in..

I was goping !! But now I have stoped all involvment with AKC !! Our club was schedgualing hunts , Now we've stoped that as well !!

I registered all my dogs with AKC and now to me that time was wasted .
I can't belive AKC would introduce a hunting program and then suport the ANTI'S Thats just ignorant !!!!!!!


Thats like 7=11, Shell, Citgo For every dollar you spend on gas they donate some of it to the anti's then put a WELCOME HUNTERS SIGN IN THE WINDO !!!!!!!!

The same weekend they have a water race a trade days in Fort Recovery, Ohio which is always a great time. Wouldn't miss uit for the world.
