Does anybody know Roy Burchel from Decatur Alabama? Is he still alive? How to contact him? Does anyone know of Robs Danny Boy breeding still around? We used to have Roy's dogs and now I'm trying to get back into dogs. I've yet to go to the woods with a real coondog or a dog with a brain. Those were the good ole days!! So much trash around now!! Would appreciate any info or maybe it's time to call it quits!

Sorry for the much delayed response. My father "Poppy" Roy Burchel passed in 2009.In the latter years of his life he had raised bird dogs so I am unclear as to what became of Danny Boy's bloodlines, but Danny Boy will always have a special place in my heart.
