I was wondering how you do that. I have a 6 month old pup and the dam is papered but the sire isnt it. Could i still possibly do it or have i waited to long. Any info would be greatly apprecitated

In order to be single registered in UKC the dog must meet breed standards. The dog will be inspected by a inspector for both breed standards and trailing and treeing in the woods.

Each Breed club has their own requirements.

Take for example the B&T Breed club. After the Hard Rock incident, they changed their single registration requirements.

Does the dog have to be shown and hunted in the woods? I need to get my dog registered, but he wont hunt with out my buddies B&T.

Yes it has to be inspected and also has to run and tree a coon.
