I recently got a hydration bladder backpack from the Bass Pro Shop. Anybody use these things? You can use them for lots of stuff besides huntin, today I'm using mine to build fence with.

its a backpack, with a plastic bag inside of it with a tibe going to your mouth with a thing you suck on to get water. comes in pretty handy

They are commonly refered to as Camel Backs. They have been around for 10-12 years at least, the Marine Corps has really started using them in the last 5 years. My unit issued them to marines for Iraqi Freedom, we liked them much better then the typical canteen. They usually carry 5 qts, but you can get bigger ones.

Mine holds like 2 liters, I'm pretty sure. They are pretty dang handy.

I love 'em. I used to use mine when I was riding my dirt bike before I sold it. Now I just use it while I'm fishin'. Pack ice around the bladder and fill it with beer. Plus it keeps your back cool. :wink:

I used mine turning my time in iraq and man was it everyhandy, you tend to drinking much more water when wearing one, also keeps your hands free and your eyes peeled. I would suggest spending a little more for the better ones, the bargain brand seems to leak and develope hole and such

Yeah I caught mine on sale and I haven't had any trouble with it yet. But I should've probably wen for the better ones.
