OK, here goes.
About 10 years ago, I would go to a small bank that was on the edge of woods to make daily deposits. The area had little development around it. (Today the bank is hidden with all the businesses surrounding it)
Anyhow, there was no security at the bank and it was off the main drag. I had been going and making deposits everday for about 2 years, so I would talk with bank tellers while I was there. I was talking with the bank teller I had always dealt with about how you would think that with the location of the bank, they would have some type of security watchman in the bank. I was telling her that with the rash of small bank robberies that was happening, the bank was an easy target to be hit, cause of its location. The bank robbers could exit into the woods and be gone on 4 wheelers.
I noticed that there was a new teller sitting next to her but didn't think of it. Apperantly while I was talking with the bank teller about their security, the new teller hit the silent alarm. Of course I was buying time before I headed back to where I worked, so I was taking my time with the deposit and making small talk.
As I was about 10 foot from the bank exit door holding a empty bank bag, the cops burst through with guns in the air.
The next thing I heard was a womaning screaming "THATS THE MAN!!!"
It was the new teller screaming it.
While I was tasting the dirt on the floor with 2 cops knees in my back and a guns pointed down at me, I could here the veteran bank tellers explaining what had happened.
I never saw her again at the bank, and I don't ever plan on mentioning bank security in bank again.

Guess I'm lucky! When my parents first moved to the small town they've been in for the last 30 years, I went with my mom to her new bank branch. She had rented a safe-deposit box where she kept some of my grandmother's jewelry. My sister was getting married (again!), so we were going to pick up some of the stuff--granny's pearls, etc.-- to wear to the wedding. When we got there, the only person at the small branch (who also took the money from sales at the gas pump!) said I couldn't go into the safe deposit room with my mother for security reasons. My mom just laughed and told me to come in anyway--who was there to stop me? When we got into the safe deposit vault, it had a glass skylight! How's that for security? LOL I ribbed her about it for years!
