Your best bet is to quit with all that orange paint and go green. Nah just teasing, I couldn't resist

I'll agree i need to get rida the old Kube but no way on the allis. There's two things I'll never give up on- Ford trucks and Allis Chalmers tractors. Any how the Kubota fired up fine over the weekend no go yesterday, tried to jump even. Has a new batttery.

actually when i got the tractor i hard wired it to eliminate those problems. Now it'll start with the mower engaged in gear and you no where near the seat Well actually now it won't start at all but for the last couple years it was that way.

I think that by now you've found out that the parts for Kubota cost about four times as much as the parts for some others, John Deere, for example. My advice to anyone in the market for a tractor or piece of equipment, new or used, is to check parts prices. At the technical facility where I instruct in Diesel Equipment Tech, we have six Kubota engines and machines. The parts are insanely priced. I can usually get parts for our John Deere equipment and engines for about a quarter of the price. Don't let the propaganda fool you. John Deere is the world leader in equipment for a reason, they work. They are NOT much more expensive to buy, hold good resale value, and the parts are very reasonable. Add that up and you can't beat the value. Just a fool's advice.

can't you have the starter re-built for a kubota tractor we had a ford 2000 and rebuilt it every year seemed like it was a 1967 model tractor thu
we just carried it to a auto starter place and they rebuilt it for about 90.00 or so
