sure, what surrounds the land? sometimes you can tree a hundred yards away or sometimes its a couple of miles.... you never know.

I'm with BCochran, it all depends on what is surrounding the area. If it borders three sides with highway, I might not want to hunt that with a ddog, but if water, dirt roads, etc are the boundaries, then it is probably OK.

You probably would be OK then. Obviously, you know your area better than mine, but if you give yourself plenty of room away from that road, You should be fine.
