My daughter thinks the same thing with mine. She just grabs onto those big flopy ears and rides til he slides her off his back. Thats a real cute picture and a sweet looking little one you got there.

Isn't it wonderful how great they are with kids? Sometimes my dogs have better diplomatic skills than most people. When they've put up with enough they simply walk away but let someone try to hurt the kid that just pulled their ears and got their fur all sticky and the dog turns all business.

our one bluetick, rascal, will pull us in a sled. its the most fun you can have. and rascal just loves kids too. our road is a designated snowmobile trail route. the one day he was pulling my daughter up the road in the sled and racing the snowmobilers as they passed. all we used was one of those plastic tobaggan like sleds you buy at wal mart for around $10. we made our own harness with old leather collars.

We had a real sweet mutt dog that was maybe part blue tick part pointer part somethin else (we will never know) that was a real champ. She would pull us on bicycles, rollerblades, and Big Wheels. She was really good about turning corners and stopping when you wanted her too. She only had one bad wreck with my brother. They were hauling butt down the road, her pulling him on a bike and the neighbors cat boogied across the street ahead of her and she took a hard left and the bike took a hard left too, and well, my brother did not. He was a little rounded off on the corners, but not hurt too bad. All this talk makes me want to pull out the roller blades and hook up a couple of my hounds and go out for a spin :) I might not bounce as well as I used to!
