I took some school kids hunting last night and had a good race and a pup that I'm working treed with the old hound so I thought I would put one on the ground for the young men and the pup,but things didn't quite work that way. I squalled just so I could catch an eye but that coon had another plan.Out of the top of that tall pin oak tree bailed out Mr. Coon hit the ground running. I will always remember the look those boys had when they saw a FLYING COON. All the way back to the truck I would hear them trying to make the coon sound.they sounded like young rosters learning to crow.

good stuff! Taking kids hunting is always a good time, especially when something like THAT happens! they will never forget it!
