Ok so the family came to the Tennessee mountains for the weekend and I have to admit, it has got to be fun running hounds around some of this mountians. As a kid my parents loved the mountians but we always came when it snowed so we couldn't see everything. Man it is truly a blast just ridding and looking. Even my 5 yr old said "daddy I bet there is coons here". That will always pit a smile on my face knowing he can't wait to hit the woods this yr!!!! Sorry I'm just use to flat land and freaking swamps!!!!!!!!!

I've never hunted down in the mountains but I bought a dog down there once. Guy told me the snakes were really bad. He used to lose at least a dog a year to snake bites. Beautiful to drive through but I bet they are hell to climb.
