I got an English dog when he was 1 and he has been hit and miss for a whole year. I talked to some buddys and they told me to get rid of him. Boy am I glad I didn't listen to them, cause he is really starting to crank it up now. He is now a little over 2 yr old. Had some problems with him running trash, and he still does a little, but he has learned to quit the trash and start hunting coon. He is starting to equal if not out do my buddies dogs (which kills them). But I've noticed he doesn't open up on track like he used to. Other night my 2 buddies dogs was working out a track and he hadn't made a noise. I was starting to get p/o when he fell treed on the track they were moving in front of their dogs. :D Makes you feel good to know you've hunted the hair off of the dog and he finally starts doing it right.

Looks like I'm going to have to take part of my conversation back. Turned him loose with 2 junk running jips and they ran coyotes half the night. Thats what I get for talking to soon. I hadn't been putting the e-collar on, cause hadn't been having trouble. Oh well
