Last night, coon hunting could be found on the Pursuit Channel (channel 604 on DirectTV and channel 393 on DISH). No, it was not my production, but I had been asked to host some hound episodes for another show. And any national television promotion of our sport is a good thing!
Little did I know that my six year old, would steal the show! He was always short and to the point, but I was very proud of him. And my old dog got the job done, as well.
I have no skin in this game, but am interested in what ratings impact, if any, some "word of mouth" exposure gets you via this web forum. And unlike, when we were on the air, they now have ratings covering who all is tuning in and/or recording it.
If you missed the show, it can be seen again on Saturday at 12:30 EDT.

I too set the dvr last night can't wait...I also dvr carnivore tv.. It shows hound hunting also but it's on bobcats..it's a good show too. Wish they were more coon hunting shows out there

I would love to be able to watch some coon hunting shows on there because it's all deer, turkey, and elk hunting. I think there needs to be more coon hunting on the tv..

I just managed to get my son's head through the front door, but now he wants to invite all his class-mates over, on Saturday!
My hope is that other youngsters see, and want to hit the woods too...
