but im not bragin its a bad habbit but i would not say that huntin and chewin go hand in hand

I used to.Mouth Cancer put a scare in me.I have thought about doing it again but.NO.

im good its nasty and causes cancer

fersdt time i tried it i was with my granpa i was about 8 and he gave me one while i was huntin. and been doin it ever since... coonin and chewin does go hand in hand in my case. not a good habit but..

You might have a point....my husband didnt start chewing untill he started hunting racoons about 5 yrs ago. He never did it deer or rabbit hunting!LOL!

Atleast he does Red Man Select and it's sugar free(so I read on the pkg.), So he may get the mouth rot but his sugars will be good.

* I got full of myself one night while fishing and my hubbie was dipping berry blend and it smelled so good I thought I'd give it a try . So I drank my beer and dipped the berry and had a good time...Well untill 30 minutes later...My head was a spinning and the boat rocking. I've never had the flu that bad!!I must have swallowed some . I'll never try dip/ chew nothing again!!I'll stick to the cold one every now and then.

my g/f even chews when she goes coon hunting w/ me. she does other times once in awhile but anytime we go coon hunting she is takin a dip. skoal wintergreen long cut and coonhounds.....cant beat it

Been a Wintergreen man for years and years. Now I buy both the Wintergreen and Apple.

i have hunted sence i was 5. and now i'm 18 and i have been chewing ever sence my 8th grade year. i guess you could say i fall into the redneck type. but ever sence i have been chewing i really only do it whilei'm hunting. when i'm deer, squirrel, and coon hunting. yes it is a bad habit but i love it and i guess i'll take the risk. so lets just keep hunting and enjoy life.
