i bought the COONHOUNDS magazine awhile back and have read it countless times and really like it. does anyone know if the dog fancy people are going to put out another one? or was that just a one time thing? what did yall think about the magazine?

Was that the one with the long eared B+T on the front. If so no I didn't like it. It made it sound like a hound was a good dog to have in a apartment, and didn't need that much exercise. It was very missleading to paople who don't have a clue.

yeah thats the one. i agree theres some things i deffinatly would have done differently- and in some ways they did make it sound like an overgrown inside lap dog but other than that i liked it

i got mine out of the magazine rack at the place where i get my feed from, ive seen it in acouple pet stores and i saw it for sale in acouple supply catalogs. its put out by the people from dog fancy so its a little more pet oriented but its got acouple articles in it about the background of each breed, nite hunts and training, choosing puppies, health problems and a few other things.

i thought the dogs they chose for all the breed pics were some of the most ugly id ever saw that walker and blue dog looked plum pittiful

there was only a few of those dogs i liked, i dont know where they came up with the dogs for those pictures but they were some ugly dogs in there. they could have gotten some better specimines im sure...
