Appreciate that Al, thank you. Just got home and really had a good time. I drew some really nice hounds on my cast. Mr Clean, Flag (second high scoring dog at my zone) and a nice female Anne (out of Buck Creek Mr Smith.) Mr Clean treed a coon and my dog backed him in the first 15 minutes and when we recast them we never heard them again. After the hunt my Garmin said my dog was back past the truck .8 and treed. Mike Raef is still going strong. Ole Scooter is tough, I hope he wins it all. Thanks again. |

Mike Raef and Scooter got beat on Friday night by Mr. Wilcox's Top Gun, the eventual World Champion. I called Mike at 3am Sunday morning to let him know who won and he answered the phone on the second ring, he just got home from a $50. PKC hunt by his house and he split the winnings. Doesn't sound like he is sitting around brooding about his loss does it! That "Scooter" isn't a bad second string dog is he Roger? |
