I have a PR bred english coonhound. She is directly out of Rooster. She has some grizzly, Redman, and hardtime blood in her as well. She also has some bluegrass Amos. She is a hard tree dog. She track fast but she is quiet on the track. As soon as she trees she is loudmouthed on the tree. I'm going to have her bred to a SS sire but I can't decide. Should I have her bred to Main Street Roy or Huck-a-Buck? I need a dog with an open mouthed track. My dog is VERY well bred and she is a great hunter and I know both of those studs are too. Which do you think would be the better cross?
my dog jack has the same lines on the top as huck a buck. they go back to some really nice old english lines. jack is a grand son to alsome who is a half brother to huck. now jack and his sire both have a really good bawl on track. you can't miss jack when he is on track. everyone within a five mile radius knows jack is on track. lol. so my vote goes with huck a buck. briar creek snake goes back to some really nice dogs too. some very good old lines.
